Mueggenburg USA is proud to announce its active participation in the upcoming American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) Botanical Congress, taking place September 16–17, 2025, at the 21c Museum Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This year's congress, themed “Back to Our Roots,” brings together professionals, innovators, and stakeholders from across the herbal and botanical industry to explore current challenges, sustainability practices, and the future of plant-based products. The event serves as a collaborative forum to deepen industry knowledge and shape strategy around the global herbal supply chain.
Mueggenburg USA is proud to announce that CEO Nils Mueggenburg will serve as moderator for the “Supply Chains Under Threat” panel at the 2025 AHPA Botanical Congress, held September 16–17 at the 21c Museum Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio. This pivotal session will explore the increasing pressures on global botanical supply chains, focusing on how economic and political instability, as well as rising tariff costs, are affecting the availability and pricing of herbal product ingredients. As demand in the dietary supplement and natural products sectors continues to grow, the industry faces an unprecedented mix of challenges. Nils Mueggenburg will guide the conversation with fellow panelist Wilson Lau (Nuherbs), addressing how these forces are reshaping the import and export landscape for botanical ingredients.
The congress also features sessions focused on strengthening domestic cultivation of medicinal herbs, protecting native plant populations through ethical wildcrafting, and adapting to shifting regulatory landscapes and evolving consumer trends. Mueggenburg USA's participation underscores its ongoing commitment to supporting responsible sourcing, transparency, and industry collaboration, as these principles are at the heart of the company’s work in the herbal and botanical space.
