Manufacturing Associate Position

 Job Summary

Mueggenburg Farms is a family-owned business that supplies spices and botanicals to the food and dietary supplement industry. Our operations include milling, warehousing, and farming. We are currently hiring for milling and warehousing positions.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  •         Bagging, packing, and labeling bulk food products.

  •         Perform setup, cleaning, and processing of food products through milling machines.

  •         Move inbound food products from container or storage location into the production area.

  •         Record data, logs, and inspections as assigned.

  •         Strictly follow GMPs, SOPs, and maintain a good understanding of safety and hygiene.

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties

  •        Loading and unloading shipments.

  •        Occasional seasonal farming tasks during harvest.

  •        Participate in the sanitation of facility and production equipment.

Physical Demands

  •        Standing, climbing, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, twisting, turning, and stooping.

  •        Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently overhead

Qualifications and Requirements

  •         Must have the ability to use hand tools, good motor coordination necessary.

  •         Good communication skills.

  •        Detail-oriented, with the ability to make sensitive adjustments in equipment.

  •         Must be team-oriented with the ability to work with others.

  •        Must pass drug and background screening

Hours, Pay, and Benefits

  •    Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm.

  •    Hours may vary slightly depending on weather and season.

  • Frequent overtime opportunities.

  • Pay: DOE

  • Benefits: Paid sick time, Paid vacation, 401k
